The best (fiction) sex positive book for teens I have ever read

If you follow me on instagram you may have seen my recent reel about this book, it is so so so good.

The Birds, the Bees, and You and Me by Olivia Hinebaugh is the kind of book I wish I could write, it is about a 17yr old music geek who has never been kissed, who takes on the very inadequate s.x ed at her school, while at the same time navigates her changing relationship with one of her best male friends.
There is some beautiful s.x ed peppered throughout the whole book, it's super relatable and realistic, and there are many examples of healthy emotional relating as well as physical relating.

If you have a teen this would be a great book for you to leave on their bed, or pop under the tree for Christmas with a note saying something like "This book has been recommended to me for teens, let me know what you think and know I'm always here if you have any questions".
